Killer on the Waves

The brand-new murder mystery in the Sunday Times bestselling series. A seaside murder. Six suspects. A weapon with more questions than answers…

On New Year’s Day, local politician and beer manganate, Gyles Sommer, is carried ceremoniously into the sea by six of his nearest and dearest as part of the annual Sidmouth Swim.

But when he capsizes and staggers out, he’s bleeding heavily and dies at the feet of local radio presenter, Edward Temmis.

Retrieving the murder weapon from the seabed – a jewelled dagger infamous for an unsolved killing twenty-five years earlier – Edward and his unlikely team of amateur sleuths must unpick a web of bitter rivalries, hidden secrets and long-buried sins that reaches far beyond the Sidmouth shoreline.

And in a town swimming in secrets, finding the truth may prove the most dangerous thing of all.
