Love Is in the Air

She believed the look in his eyes—only to find out she'd been a fool to do so.

It's Valentine's Day in Paris, and Tara Gayarre has never felt more alone—until a chance encounter with a devastatingly handsome stranger turns one night into the most unforgettable of her life. She never expects to see him again.

But fate has other plans.

When Tara meets the patron funding her work at the Louvre, where she's been hired for a six-month art restoration project, it's her favorite (and only) one-night stand.

Plot twist: Gustave is a freaking Count… sorry, Comte, heir to a powerful dynasty, a favorite of the French paparazzi, and not happy (at all) about seeing Tara again. They decide that the best course of action is to remain professional and maintain their distance.

But their chemistry has other plans… and they embark on a secret affair.

When Gustave's glamorous ex-wife finds out, she sparks a scandal that makes it look like Tara sold out to the tabloids. He ends their affair in fury, says things that Tara can neither forget nor forgive.

When the truth comes out, Gustave realizes winning Tara back means risking everything: his reputation, his family name, and his heart.
