Other Worlds

In a smoky room on a foggy evening, Harry Houdini, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and other crime specialists gather to drink brandy, smoke cigars, and solve two terrifying murders. This exclusive club of writers, detectives, and sleuths put their genius - and very lives - to the test as they delve into the gripping stories of two families plagued by poltergeistly pranks and chillingly terrifying horrors. The first case takes place in Tennessee, where a family is haunted by a spirit whose predictions of death and despair come frighteningly true. Meanwhile, in rural Connecticut, a widow and her children move into her new husband's home, only to find themselves possessed by unimaginably frightening demons. Other Worlds, yet another masterpiece from best-selling author Barbara Michaels, delivers an enchanting mix of richly atmospheric suspense, dark humor, and ghostly terror.
