Reservations for Two

Eight years ago, they chose their careers over each other. Now their professional futures depend on working together.

Dominic Shaw has spent fifteen years building successful restaurants for other people. At forty, he’s finally getting the opportunity he’s worked toward his entire career: opening his own restaurant at Juniper House, Atlanta’s newest boutique hotel.

Everything is falling into place.

Until the investors demand an independent operational review.

And the consultant who walks through the door is Rafael Mendoza.

His ex.

The man he lived with, loved, and walked away from eight years ago.

Rafael has built a successful career helping hospitality businesses succeed. He’s organized, analytical, relentlessly professional—and entirely unprepared to discover that his newest assignment belongs to the man he never quite forgot.

They have three weeks to get the restaurant ready for opening.

Three weeks of menu tastings, staffing decisions, operational disagreements, and the increasingly inconvenient realization that their chemistry hasn’t faded.

But the problems that separated them eight years ago haven’t magically disappeared. Dominic has a restaurant to open. Rafael has a career he’s worked hard to build. And neither man is willing to sacrifice everything he’s accomplished for a relationship that already failed once.

This time, however, they’re older.

They know what they want.

The question is whether they’re finally brave enough to want it together.

Reservations for Two is a witty, emotionally satisfying contemporary M/M second-chance romance about ambitious men, unfinished business, and discovering that love doesn’t have to mean giving up the life you’ve worked to build.

Part of the Inside the Perimeter series, featuring interconnected Atlanta romances, accomplished men, sharp banter, mature relationships, and guaranteed happily-ever-afters. Each book features a complete romance.
