It’s been ten years since my sister and I escaped with our closest friends from Gideon’s operation. We made a deal with a devil, intent to save the people we could: ourselves. When you’re drowning, sometimes that’s all you can do. In exchange, we got Widows Peak, a place we’ve made into a haven for omegas and betas looking for community and safety.

I’m just entering into a relationship with the sheriff of my town, able to accept that I deserve good things too, when everything changes.

Widows Peak is a predominantly alpha free town. That’s all changing now that there are two alphas, and a beta that smells wrong, who are insistently looking for answers to a cold case. The alphas are my scent matches, something I never thought possible.

It’s bringing up feelings I only relive in the quiet of the night, and my trauma is coming back to haunt me. I need to head back to free Gideon’s Dolls, and maybe finally grab some happiness of my own as well.

This is a why choose romance, part of the Beware of the Widows shared world.
