When I retired and moved from the United States to France in 2018, I discovered the pleasure of exploring this extraordinary country at my own pace. Over time, discovering its châteaux became a personal passion—one that continually draws me toward remarkable residences and fascinating stories.I created this field guide for fellow enthusiasts who share the fascination and, like me, are on a personal mission to discover as many French châteaux as possible.
