The Earl of Dracumont

They took everything from him. His future. His family. His freedom. Fifteen years in a cell, and those who put him there never looked back.

They should have.

Eldrindor was a boy when they buried him. Whatever crawled out fifteen years later is not that boy. In the dark he was trained. In the dark he learned patience. Which is only rage that has learned to wait. He came out carrying secrets and a name that belongs to no one.

He calls himself Algherand now. He walks into a world of tournaments and noble houses with a borrowed sword and a plan nobody around him is big enough to see the scope of. Rise. Build a household. Earn the loyalty of men, and the hearts of women who feel the old power moving in his blood. Then, when he has gathered enough, tear down every man who buried the boy.

Dragon-blooded lords rule the empire. A single tournament can make a man or finish him. Algherand intends to fight, scheme, and climb his way from nothing to all of it.

Vengeance charges interest, though. The closer he gets to the people who wronged him, the harder it is to say where justice stops and the monster begins.

The Earl of Dracumont is epic fantasy with tournament combat, political intrigue, morally complex characters, and multiple relationships.
