The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound 13

Randidly Ghosthound must play many roles.

He must be a Drill Sergeant in the Nexus military. He supports a conspiracy to steal the most powerful body in existence.

And finally, he bears a vicious suspicion of the Swacc Family.

Randidly Ghosthound has established himself in the Nexus. But even passing muster on the Fifth Cohort Rally Station isn't as simple as it should be. The various factions have planted subordinates, spies, and castoff disappointments with Randidly's ranks. They want him weak, they want him predictable, they want him controlled.

But when Randidly finds and nurtures several talented individuals, and his fresh recruits shock the Nexus, the powers that be will fall back on naked threats. They send Velio Dunn, a being that has stepped beyond the physical constraints of the System, to make Randidly Ghosthound fall in line.

Pursued by Dunn, Randidly flees down the Shaft, the vast, ancient spine on which the Nexus sits. In that dark gulf above the engine of the Nexus, Randidly must find the limits of his own power.

Or risk becoming one more piece of kindling, fueling the monstrous System to new heights.
