Queen Sealyn’s failure to break Glatania’s curse is etched in the lives lost, the relentless uncertainty shadowing her people, and her own imprisonment. Sealyn must endure brutal torture and confront the ominous beast lurking in her prison cell, yet her greatest challenge may be holding on to hope amid the darkness. King Jace’s grief-stricken army of Elysians and Glatanian rebels finally embarks on a perilous quest to discover Sealyn’s fate. Their journey hits a crisis when the ship carrying Queen Sealyn’s mother is forced to seek refuge in enemy waters. Torn, the crew presses on with their daring plan: to locate Sealyn first, then rescue her mother.

Siany, sister to Sealyn, has had enough of the sidelines. Though she rules as headmistress at the Luxen School of Magic, she recruits a brave small band to traverse mystical Tors in search of her sister. What fierce battles and unexpected dangers lie ahead?

Questions remain… Can Queen Sealyn be rescued from her captors? If so, how will they find Queen Mother Graelynd in the treacherous enemy lands of Havas? And can they break the curse that lures and tempts at every corner with its lies? The stakes have never been higher. Fail again, and there’s no way home…
