The Toxic Duet

Contains books one and two of The Toxic Duet series.

Scars of a Toxic N*gga, book one

Khalil "Loon" Simmons thinks that he has his life all figured out. Although young, he has what most men twice his age could only fathom. He has no shortage of money, power, and the respect of the streets that he serves. Oddly, what he valued most was having someone to share it with—his long-time girlfriend, Mia. But in a shocking twist of events, Loon is blindsided when the reality of life turns his fairytale into a mockery. He gives his best attempt at living life as he now knows it, but wounds that deep never heal. He's left hardened, angry, vengeful, and above all else… he's scarred.

A Toxic Redemption, book two

What do you do when the person you would jump in front of a bullet for is the one pulling the trigger?

For the last three years, Khalil "Loon" Simmons has lived his life emotionless. But like the saying goes, "to heal a wound, you need to stop touching it," and the scars of his past have resurfaced. One after another, every emotion he has vowed that he would never feel again slowly but surely returns.

Loon knows that if he continues to keep these feelings bottled up, he'll eventually explode most dangerously. So instead of continuing to suppress these emotions, Loon faces them head-on in search of a little redemption.
