World's Only Hero

He wasn’t chosen. That’s not going to stop him. Leave everything to Chance.

Chance Encounter has the pedigree and the kind of military clearance that makes problems disappear. He’s the man who always has a plan. So when dimensional invaders rip open the sky and he’s skipped by the universe as it selects its official heroes, it’s clear someone made a mistake.

Then his pilot is whisked away, and Chance suddenly has more important things to worry about. The jet lurches, and he rides the spiraling wreck straight into a temporal barrier. Now on the wrong side of reality, he finds himself in a target-rich environment with six factions of invaders gearing up to cut their way through the population.

Grabbing the first weapon he can find, Chance claims the invader’s system for himself and fights his way out of the rift. As the only person left on Earth with the power to hold off the endless hordes, he needs to slice through the red tape and unite all of humanity against their new common enemy. Their only Chance is to make sure he keeps winning even as society collapses, and find a way to make the entire planet rally behind…
