The Amalfi Inferno

A former wet-work operative just wanted to get married, but the Italian mob had other plans for his Sunday morning.

Jonathan Hunt is done with war. After years as a black-ops cleaner for a government agency that doesn't exist, he’s retired to the Amalfi Coast with a simple mission: marry the woman he loves and raise their children in peace. But his fiancée, Rosa, has one non-negotiable condition for the wedding—Jonathan must make a full confession.

Entering the confessional of Fra Lorenzo, a young Franciscan with neon-green running shoes and a dangerous amount of optimism, Jonathan expects a heavy dose of guilt. What he gets is a front-row seat to a mob war. When the Camorra comes for a terrified refugee hiding in the church, Jonathan’s instinct to protect kicks in, shattering his vow of non-violence.

Now, with a target on his back and a ruthless crime boss named Luca burning down everything in his path, Jonathan must turn a crumbling villa into a fortress. Caught between a priest who believes in mercy and a mafia that believes in torture, Jonathan has to decide if he can be the man Rosa needs him to be—or the monster the village needs to survive.

Sometimes, the only way to wash away your sins is with a little blood.
