The Leaf Bridge of Windroot Hollow

In Windroot Hollow, two groves stand on opposite sides of a deep ravine. For generations, the flying squirrels have crossed the gap by gliding, but storms, age, and changing winds make the journey increasingly dangerous for the young, the old, and animals that cannot fly.

The Windtail family—parents Eren and Mara, inventive daughter Liri, cautious son Toma, and Grandmother Sela—proposes an impossible solution: a bridge woven from living leaves, vines, and flexible branches.

Their idea soon becomes a test of patience, cooperation, and pride. When neighbors argue over who should build, who should cross, and who should control the bridge, the family discovers that connecting two sides is harder than spanning a ravine.

This continuous fable explores shared work, trust, responsibility, and the truth that a bridge is strongest when no one claims it as theirs alone.
