Calming Bedtime Stories for Hyper and ADHD Kids

Milo is a bright blue train with a busy mind that never seems ready to slow down.

After spending the entire day chugging through Tracksville, Milo is exhausted. But when nighttime arrives, his wheels keep twitching, his boiler keeps rumbling, and his thoughts keep racing. Milo wants to rest, but he does not know how to stop.

At a quiet station, Milo meets Luna, a calm silver train who understands exactly how he feels. With patience and kindness, Luna guides Milo through a gentle nighttime reset. He learns to place unfinished worries at the Tomorrow Station, notice five peaceful things, let busy thoughts step off like passengers, breathe gently, and imagine a warm, comforting glow.

Perfect for children ages 4 to 6, this calming bedtime story can help children:

• Quiet racing thoughts before bed

• Ease bedtime worries and anxious feelings

• Calm big emotions after an active day

• Transition gently from playtime to rest

• Feel understood, safe, and ready for sleep

Milo’s journey reminds children that having a busy, creative mind is not a problem. Sometimes, even the busiest little engines simply need help learning how to slow down.
